Scott’s Bio
Since 1988, Scott has been actively serving in the local church and since 1994 has served as a full-time worship pastor at churches in N.E. Ohio. During this time, Scott developed church music programs through the utilization of choirs, worship teams, and various instrumental ensembles. In addition, Scott has custom arrangements for instrumental and vocal, which covers a broad stylistic range.
Scott studied at The University of Akron (Music Education, 1985-1991) with primary teachers being Scott Johnston (trumpet), Robert Jorgensen (conducting) and Michael Golemo (arranging/conducting). In addition, while in high school, Scott was under the baton of Mark D. Scatterday.
Currently, Scott serves at Grace Church of Rootstown (OH) as a staff elder overseeing worship and music and a certified instructor with BILD International’s Antioch School located in Ames, Iowa.
Scott resides in Akron, Ohio with his wife, LeAnna, and two sons.
